A proper "boxing match" in the markets today as I put in a gruelling 3 to 4 hours of Saturday football trading (not continuously)
The knockout punch to give us a decent profit for the day was 2 late first goals in the Stoke Versus Norwich match
You will see from my previous posts, I always say these Double jackpot wins don't come in often but when they do, they really give us a profit boost. You can see in today's P&L that the big win made a great difference. That said, even without the jackpot trade, it was looking like a great day of trading.
I mainly focussed on the finding value in the first half and did have some good picks in the second half too. I won't be playing the majority of the second half picks from the 3PM kick-offs as I would be foolish to re-enter the market after a decent and profitable day of trading so far.
As always, there will be not so good days to follow and it's all about the long term.
