I have always read on multiple trading forums about trading being personal and picking your approach and sticking with it for a while.
The beauty about running trading mindset experiments such as the one I have run over the last 3 months is that I get to live and breathe these hypotheses in real life. I veered away from my original approach and my bank took a hammering as I hadn't really tested what I thought was an improved approach.
I am obviously reverting back to my original approach and have also re-instated automation to see if I can replicate my strategy to some degree on bfbotmanager (at the very least to collect more data while I sleep!)
LESSONS SO FAR:
Find a strategy that you believe has an edge AND that suits our trading style and mindset
Place at least 500 trades at small stakes - let's say £1 stakes. You will learn a shed load more than any trading guru can teach you
So this post concludes what will be a fairly short round of 66 trades, with a 1.8pt profit as below:
The next round is the FINAL round of the experiment which is round 6.
