Ah. So we put to bed the superstitions about Thursday football trading being a bad idea for the bank!
In fact, I hesitated on a couple of solid opportunities after yesterday's battering, both of which got goals straight after and cost me an additional 2PT profit.
That said, a comfortable in the market for my first half trading. 2x big wins brought home the bacon, so to speak
After this round, there is a good chance I may eliminate second half late goal trading as I am struggling to find value and my P&L shows almost 95% of the profits so far are from the first half. Even the prices I get in the last 15 minutes of a match are remarkably worse than in the first half. Of course, historical data shows the SR is abit higher for late goals but I am not that convinced anymore. Besides, late goals in the second half are were many traders ply their trade so I suspect the value is really hard to find.
That aside, below is the P&L for today. The £17 profit was from a double jackpot win - hadn't had one since last Saturday I think. Impossible to predict when the big wins turn up, but they seem to show up at least once a week (of course, one still has to find them and not blindly smash the markets)
Current Status for round 2 (which started 18th October 2024):
175 trades
+6.3 points
I will be away for half term holidays most of next week . But as it stands, we will almost certainly complete Round 2 on or before this Saturday 26th October
