FINAL round 6: 1st to 2nd Dec, 1.85 pts over 40 trades placed

My oh my, what a journey this has been.

After setbacks, screw-ups, ups and downs, I started the final round of the experiment.

Needless to stay after the bank-hammering detour to a different approach, I am sticking with my "last orders" strategy till the end of the experiment. And if that still looks promising than I will officially "go-live" or launch my trading journey, hopefully to grow the bank steadily thereon.

£20 STAKES: So far the final round, I am testing my mindset maturity by going in with DOUBLE the stakes I used in the previous round.

This is all intentional to see how far I have come because at the end of round 6, I will be using at least £20 stakes as my official launch bank will be £2000. I still split my stake 50 / 50 with 2 entry points.

KEY LESSON: WRITE DOWN YOUR TRADING STRATEGY, AFTER YOU HAVE REFINED IT AS CLOSE TO PERFECTION AS POSSIBLE:

As the experiment has progressed, I have evolved and refined my mind and strategy to become as fearless, seamless and as perfect as possible. These words are completely true.

It doesn't mean I will go on to be wildly successful in round 6. It just means that I have taken a big chunk of the emotion out and I am confident I have found an angle, based on very clear entry criteria in the second half - let's see how it goes!

Trading update 1st December 2024: +1.35 pts

A brutal day in the markets for my strategy saved by a late flurry of goals in the Klagenfurt game (very beautiful part of Austria by the way that I visited in the Autumn)

Trading update 2nd Dec +0.5pts: Relatively quiet but some surprisingly good opportunities.

A few wins and losses balanced out but a few decent wins including the Al Wasl game as below meant we finished the day up

Status for round 6 so far is:

  • +1.85 pts

  • 40 trades placed (includes a few automated bets at small stakes but doesn't really matter as these were at 0.10P)
